The Problem with Politics

Center for Responsive Politics reviewed recently filed report with the Senate Office of Public Records.  They found that companies, trade associations, unions and other groups spent nearly $1 billion on lobbying during the first quarter of 2010.  This an 11 percent increase from last year and puts this year to exceed last year record spending of $3.47 billion.

We need to get the money out of politics and return the representatives to directly representing the people of  United States.
