According to Daily Camera 1000 students protested against Westboro Church protestors on Thursday in front of their school. They started of with a peaceful rally behind the school to ignore WBC protesters but when the pizza ran out they moved around front.
“We wanted to show how something like this can’t tear us apart,” said Boulder High freshman Aimee Anderson, 14.
“They’re saying, ‘Boulder High parents taught their kids to accept everyone,’ and we’re like, ‘That’s right, they did, and we’re awesome for it,'” Renee said.
